Veteran actor Tarla Joshi, who played the role of Badi Beeji in Ek Hazaron Mein Mein Meri Behna Hai, passed away on Sunday due to a cardiac arrest. Her co-stars, Nia Sharma, Krystle D'Souza and Anju Mahendroo paid tribute to the actress on social media and said that she will always be their ‘badi beeji’.Nia Sharma shared a series of photos with Tarla Joshi on her Instagram stories. Sharing a collage with her from their Ek Hazaron Mein Mein Meri Behna Hai days, the actress wrote, “RIP Badi Beeji you will be missed (sic)...

” Sharing a group photo with Divyajyotee Sharma, Anju Mahendru and Mohit Chauhan, who were also a part of Ek Hazaaron, Nia wrote, “Tarla ji you’ll always be our badi beeji (sic),” along with several heart emojis.Anju Mahendroo also shared a picture with Tarla Joshi and remembered how she always looked up to her as a mother figure. She wrote, "Will miss you Tarlaji always looked up to you as a mother !!! Rest in eternal peace (sic)."Tarla Joshi has also worked in shows like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai and Bandini. She started her career as a costume designer. Tarla appeared in films like Gandhi My Father, Ame Pardeshi Paan, Majiyara Haiya and Hum Jo Keh Na Paaye.
