The historical epic 'Chhaava,' starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna, remains a box office hit even after a month in theaters. The film, based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his sacrifice for the Maratha empire, has become the highest-grossing film of 2025, earning Rs 581 crore to date. On its 39th day and at the end of its sixth week, 'Chhaava,' continues to perform strongly, unfazed by the ongoing IPL season.
According to critic Taran Adarsh, despite the upcoming release of Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' on March 30, 2025, 'Chhaava,' still has the potential to further increase its impressive earnings. In his tweet he said, 'Chhaava,' continues its dominance into its sixth weekend, unaffected by IPL. The biggest challenge ahead is Salman Khan’s Eid release Sikandar on March 30, but the film still has a window to further add to its impressive tally."
