Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna's starrer Chhaava is currently making waves at the box office. Viewers are mesmerized by Vicky Kaushal’s portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and are showering praise on his commendable performance. After seeing huge response in Hindi language Maharashtra’s Marathi Language Minister, Uday Samant, who had earlier opposed the film’s release over a controversial dance sequence, has now requested director Laxman Utekar to dub Chhaava in Marathi and release it.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Samant shared, "Today, I met with the director of the film Chhaava, Mr. Laxman Utekar. I requested him to dub the film in Marathi and release it." He also stated that  Utekar has agreed to the request and prominent Marathi film personality Amey Khopkar was also present at the meeting.

Apart from Rashmika Mandanna and Vicky Kaushal, the film also features Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb. His powerful performance as the Mughal emperor has been highly appreciated by the audience.
