Vijay Deverakonda today stands as one of the most talented pan-India stars of Indian cinema. With his remarkable screen presence and a string of memorable performances, he has delivered characters that continue to stay with audiences long after the credits roll. Now, the actor is gearing up to dominate the big screen once again with two highly anticipated projects, Rana Baali and Rowdy Janardhana.

Once again showcasing his acting finesse, Vijay will be seen portraying two completely different characters across these films. In Rana Baali, he reunites with acclaimed filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan, a collaboration that has already proven successful in the past. Meanwhile, Rowdy Janardhana marks his collaboration with director Ravi Kiran Kola, placing him in a contrasting narrative space.

Rana Baali brings Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna back on screen after the much-loved Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, instantly reigniting one of the most adored pairings in recent cinema. The film also marks Vijay Deverakonda’s third association with the prestigious Mythri Movie Makers banner, helmed by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar—the powerhouse production house behind the globally celebrated Pushpa franchise. Adding to the excitement, the film reunites Vijay with director Rahul Sankrityan after their superhit collaboration Taxiwaala. Presented by T-Series and featuring music by the iconic duo Ajay–Atul, Rana Baali promises scale, intensity, and grandeur. On the other hand, Rowdy Janardhana sees Vijay Deverakonda stepping into a completely different space, with the film being directed by Ravi Kiran Kola, further showcasing the actor’s versatility across distinct narratives.

Both films are deeply rooted in real stories and revolve around lesser-known incidents that will be brought to light. These films will see Vijay Deverakonda stepping into powerful, layered roles inspired by two real yet lesser-spoken-about individuals. Each character is strikingly distinct in personality, depth, and emotion, and has been shaped by two incidents that have largely remained under the radar. With strong, story-driven narratives at their core, Rana Baali and Rowdy Janardhana promise impactful performances from Vijay and are poised to leave a lasting impression on audiences.

Vijay Deverakonda also took to his social media to acknowledge working on these two distinct films with two different directors, while reaffirming his commitment to delivering meaningful and impactful cinema. He wrote: “Fiercest fellows 😀🔥Mad passionate storytellers ❤️
