After the blockbuster success of The Kerala Story in 2023, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah is taking forward the franchise with The Kerala Story 2, officially titled The Kerala Story 2 Goes Beyond. The sequel features Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia and Aishwarya Ojha as the three leading ladies. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers unveiled the character posters of the film’s leading women, Ulka Gupta, Aishwarya Ojha and Aditi Bhatia, and the visuals are nothing short of haunting. Each poster features an intense close-up, with half the face concealed under a burqa, revealing only a tear-filled eye, while the other half lays bare bruised faces streaked with tears. The striking imagery offers a disturbing glimpse into the unspeakable horrors their characters have endured, setting the tone for a story that aims to go far beyond comfort zones. Sharing the posters, the makers wrote, “

The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond tells the disturbing story of three Hindu girls whose lives spiral into fear and trauma after they fall in love with three Muslim men, relationships that slowly uncover a hidden and calculated plan of religious conversion. Following the massive impact of The Kerala Story, which shook audiences nationwide with its bold narrative, the sequel promises to push boundaries even further, going beyond comfort, beyond silence, and beyond denial. Directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh, The Kerala Story 2- Goes Beyond is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, co-produced by Aashin A Shah under the banner Sunshine Pictures. The film is slated to release in cinemas on 27th February, 2026.
