Actor Ali Fazal is set to take 2025 by storm, spanning multiple industries, languages, and formats. From making his South Indian debut in Mani Ratnam’s Thug Life alongside the legendary Kamal Haasan, to starring alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge in his latest Hollywood venture Rule Breakers, based on a real-life story, Ali is expanding his cinematic footprint like never before.On the home front, he has an exciting slate of theatrical releases, including Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino and Lahore 1947, produced by Aamir Khan Productions. Meanwhile, his presence on OTT continues to grow as he joins the visionary director duo Raj & DK for their upcoming fantasy period drama series, Rakht Brahmand.

Ali continues, "Then there’s Rule Breakers, which is a real-life-inspired Hollywood film about the wonderful groups of courageous girls. It’ a project that pushed my mind to think differently and embody another real life character, and collaborating with such talented minds is an absolute thrill. Back in Bollywood, Anurag Basu’s Metro… In Dino is a film that captures the emotional essence of urban life, and Lahore 1947 is a historical epic that’s deeply moving and important. And on the show front, Rakht Brahmand with Raj & DK is something completely new for me—a fantasy period drama that promises to be unlike anything we’ve seen before." Ali further adds, "For me, cinema isn’t about borders or mediums—it’s about storytelling.
