Waseem Amrohi appointed Imagine Movies' CEO

Waseem Amrohi, founder of Mumbai based Advertising and Marketing Agency Inking Ideas, has been appointed as the new CEO of Dubai based Entertainment channel - Imagine Movies.

The two companies have merged to "reshape the entertainment panorama", read a statement.

Talking about the merger, Waseem said: "I am very excited about the new task assigned to me. My job is not only to run the channel but also to promote new talents and brands in the Middle East and North Africa region.

"I want to give our budding talent an international exposure, a platform for new Indian creative artists like actors, singers, filmmakers to showcase their work to the world. I want Indian cinema to go big".

Waseem has endorsed many prestigious campaigns and has won many awards globally including BBC national marketing award 2017.

Waseem and his team (Dinesh Sudarshan Soi - CCO and Casting head Imagine movies, Intesab Hussain Co- founder Inking ideas and Nishant Jethi - Director of operations of InKing Ideas) have worked on over 450 brands including national and international.

Inking Ideas Private Limited aims to take the channels TRP to the next level by using their expertise. They provide services like media planning, advertising, designing and social media marketing.

Imagine Movies, which was previously known as NDTV Imagine, showcases movies of all genres with the most reach in the Middle East and North Africa regions.
