Last year in October 2024 Govinda has admitted in hospital after he shot himself by mistake. The 60-year-old actor underwent a surgery and then got discharged. Govinda said in his statement, "I thank members of the press, the authorities and my fans who love me and whose wishes kept me safe, I thank them all," said Govinda upon coming out of the hospital.
