Rajnikanth fans were in for a surprise when it was announced that the superstar will be shooting for an episode of Man Vs Wild with Bear Grylls. While fans on social media have expressed their excitement, certain sections have demanded Rajnikanth's arrest for shooting the episode in the national forest. In their complaint, they have stated that the superstar shooting in the forest might cause harm to the animals living there.

The other reason is that the crew opted to shoot the episode in monsoon rather than the ongoing dry season which is risky for the wildlife thereby igniting risk of wildfires. On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen next in Thalaivar 168. The film also stars Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Soori and Sathish. Interestingly, Rajinikanth is the second person after Prime Minister Narendra Modi who shot for the Bear Grylls show. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also landed in Mysore yesterday to shoot an episode for Man Vs Wild in Karnataka.
