The former beauty queen post a successful career in the movies is actively involved in spreading awareness about a eco-friendly environment. She has been appointed as the first United Nations Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India and also the ambassador of Wildlife Trust of India, which is a part of Swachh Bharat Mission’s youth-based programme. She believes in the idea of living sustainably and has 100% gone eco-friendly.

Gul Panag

The former Miss India Universe winner has partnered foundations namely Gul 4 change and The Col. Shamsher Singh Foundation, which works in the field of sanitation, waste management and effective employment of natural resources. 

Aamir Khan

Mr.Perfectionist of Bollywood has been actively doing his bit for water conservation through Paani Foundation with his wife Kiran Rao. The aim is to help the villages of Maharashtra from droughts and educate them on how to tackle drought related issues in villages.

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan won the Green Globe award in 2012 for his efforts in fighting climate change. The actor has been applauded  by the Green Globe Foundation and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) for his work.

Taapsee Pannu

The Pink actress was roped in for a campaign by Animal Planet on tiger conservation to generate an interest in the survival and conservation of the National Animal of India.

Rahul Bose

Rahul Bose has been very much involved in protecting mother nature and has been doing his bit towards the cause of climatic change. He became the Oxfam Global ambassador in 2007 in lieu of his contributions towards the environment. The Jhankar Beats actor also worked with the United Nations Environment Program, and the International Indian Film Academy, and pledged to plant two trees for every activity registered in his name.
