Virat Kohli turned vegan few years ago and opted for a plant based diet to lead a more fit lifestyle. He has since undergone a serious physical transformation and revealed that it has improved his fitness and game.

Sonakshi Sinha

A self confessed animal lover Sonakshi Sinha turned vagan as a part of her initiative to end animal cruelty. She wants animal cruelty to end and is doing her bit for it. She lost oodles of weight after turning vegan.  The actress confessed that a vegan diet helped boost her metabolism. 

Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan turned vegan earlier this year after his wife Kiran Rao, who is a vegan herself, showed him a one-hour video presentation by a doctor. The P.K actor has not only quit non-veg food but has also given up on milk, ghee and sweets made of milk. 

 

Jacqueline Fernandez

The Kick actress turned turned vegan as a part of her environment to protect the environment and walk towards a healthier lifestyle. In 2014, she has also been felicitated with ‘Woman of the year’ by PETA. 

Kangana Ranaut

The Queen of Bollywood adopted a vegan lifestyle for a healthy lifestyle believing that it has positive impact on skin, mind and body. She was voted the hottest vegetarian celebrity in 2013 by PETA.

 

Neha Dhupia

Actress Neha Dhupia pledged to protect the environment and animal by adopting veganism. Neha opted for plant-based foods and even helped PETA launch their V-Card, India's first-ever discount savings card for vegans.

Sonam Kapoor

Sonam turned vegan out of her compassion for animals. She was also named  the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India's Person of the Year for 2018.

Shahid Kapoor

The Kabir Singh star actor turned vegan after reading a book Life is Fair by Brain Hines which was gifted to him by his father  actor Pankaj Kapur. The impact of the book was such that  he decided to give up meat by the time the flight landed his destination.
