A video with a caption has been circulating on social media platforms claiming that Iddo Netanyahu, brother of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, was killed in an Iranian attack in Tel Aviv on Sunday, amid the ongoing war between Iran and the US-Israel.
However, the footage which making rounds on social media was recorded weeks before the US and Israel attacked Iran on February 28, 2026. The viral video reviews and it was learned that the clip was of New Jersey and not from the Middle East.
Also, no credible news report or official statement from Israel claiming Iddo Netanyahu has been injured or killed in the attack.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) on X where it was published on March 9, 2026. It opened: "Reports coming in that Netanyahu’s brother Iddo Netanyahu has lost his life after an Iranian missile strike targeted Netanyahu’s family home."
Meanwhile, it was also claimed early that the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu had been killed in a fire caused by an Iranian missile. However, no official statement from the Israeli government or credible media about the death of Israel PM.
The recent death claim of Iddo Netanyahu is false and the video footage is from New Jersey in the US and the location of the house is Park PI, Galloway Township. There are also no reports of an attack on Iddo Netanyahu. The claims that they were hit are a hoax.
