Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane denied giving any concrete statement on Gareth Bale, saying that he does not know whether Welsh winger will play against Real Betis or not.

"Bale is going to be in the squad list tomorrow. I'm not going to say if he will play or not. You will see tomorrow. Could it be his last game? I don't know. I can't say," Goal.com quoted Zidane, as saying.

Bale joined the club back in 2013. However, he was not included in the squad for the club's most recent La Liga matches against Villarreal and Real Sociedad.

Madrid's season has not been satisfactory as they are 18 points behind the top-positioned Barcelona, 86 points, in the La Liga. Moreover, they crashed out of the Champions League and Copa del Rey early this season.

However, despite a dismal run, Zidane is being optimistic for the next season, saying that they are willing to start the next season with work.

"I would say to the fans it was a difficult season, but let's think about next season. We are willing to start the next season with work and to make the fans be proud of us," he said.

Madrid will face Real Betis in the La Liga clash on May 19.
