Manchester [UK], January 5 : Manchester City's clash against Chelsea ended in a draw. Fulham snatched a point in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Liverpool, and Manchester United came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw with Leeds United in the ongoing English Premier League (EPL) 2025-26 season.

Manchester City closed their gap with table-toppers Arsenal. City has 42 points to their name in 20 matches, whereas Arsenal remains at the top with 48 points in as many matches.

Chelsea, on the other hand, remained at fifth place with 31 points to their name in the Premier League standings. Manchester United are in sixth with as many points to their name. Fulham is ranked 11th in the EPL standings with 28 points, whereas Leeds United are placed 16th with 22 points.

Coming to the Manchester City vs Chelsea clash, the hosts City opened the scoring after Tijjani Reijnders found the net during the 42nd minute of the match.

However, the visitors Chelsea capped came back in style as Enzo Fernandez scored a last-gasp equaliser during the stoppage time to earn a 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester.

The hosts had gone ahead late in the first half through Tijjani Reijnders, but they failed to put the result beyond doubt and were duly punished as they lost further ground in the Premier League title race to Arsenal.

Manchester United, on the other hand, came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw against Leeds United at Elland Road.

After a quiet first half, Brenden Aaronson netted the opener for Leeds United, capitalising on a defensive lapse of United to put the hosts in front during the 62nd minute of the match.

However, United's Matheus Cunha scored a goal for his side in the 65th minute to level the score 1-1. During the closing stages, Leeds' Noah Okafor and Joel Piroe had the best chances against Daniel Farke's side but couldn't convert them as the match ended in a stalemate.

Fulham snatched a point following a dramatic 2-2 draw with Liverpool after Harrison Reed's stunning goal during the stoppage time. It was the midfielder's first Premier League goal since April 2023 as he rescued Fulham from the jaws of defeat at Craven Cottage.

Harry Wilson scored the first goal for Fulham during the 17th minute before Chelsea's Florian Wirtz scored an equaliser in the 57th minute.

During the stoppage time, Cody Gakpo of Chelsea scored a stunner to put his side ahead 2-1. However, there was another late twist three minutes later, as substitute Reed arrowed a sublime 30-yard effort into the top-right corner to rescue Fulham a point.
