12.46 lakh people screened in Gautam Buddha Nagar

More than 12 lakh people of the 21 lakh population of the Gautam Buddha Nagar district had been screened till Saturday.

Noida, April 18 More than 12 lakh people of the 21 lakh population of the Gautam Buddha Nagar district had been screened till Saturday.

"We are screening everybody in the vicinity of hotspots. The screening is bing done in other areas, not marked as hotspots, as well," District Magistrate M Suhas LY told .

The administration has formed 4,036 teams for screening across the district. The teams have visited 3.90 lakh homes and screened 12.46 people.

As per the official data on Friday, there are 92 coronavirus infected people in the district. While 33 have been cured, 59 are undergoing treatment.
