J&K reported 139 new cases on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases in the Union Territory to 2,857.

According to an Information and Public Relations Department statement, of the new cases, 30 are in the Jammu division and 109 in the Kashmir division.

While 1,007 people have recovered, 34 died due to Covid-19 in J&K. The number of active cases is 1,816 in the UT. Of this, 532 are in the Jammu division and 1,284 in the Kashmir division.
