Jammu, June 26 Another 213 people tested positive on Friday in J&K as the number of COVID-19 patients in the Union territory jumped to 6,762 while the number of active cases surged to 2,591.

A statement issued by the information and public relations department said 213 tested positive, 58 from Jammu division and 155 from Kashmir division.

The total number of COVID patients in J&K is now 6,762. So far, 91 people have been killed by the dreaded virus while 4,080 have recovered completely.

The number of active cases is now 2,591 out of which 493 are in Jammu division and 2,098 are in Kashmir division.
