Srinagar, July 13 Recoveries continued to outnumber new cases in J&K on Tuesday as 416 patients recovered while 143 new cases and one death was reported during the last 24 hours.

Officials said 226 recoveries, 51 cases and one death was reported from the Jammu division, and 190 recoveries and 92 cases from the Kashmir division.

The number of black fungus cases stands at 31.

So far, 318,991 people have been infected with coronavirus in J&K out of which 312,198 have recovered, while 4,358 have succumbed.

Active cases total 2,435, out of which 1,050 are from Jammu division and 1,385 from Kashmir division.
