Another Covid-19 patient dies in K'taka, death count 13

A 66-year-old man infected with the coronavirus died here at Victoria hospital, taking the total number of Covid-19 deaths to 13 in the state, a health department official said on Thursday.

Bengaluru, April 16 A 66-year-old man infected with the coronavirus died here at Victoria hospital, taking the total number of Covid-19 deaths to 13 in the state, a health department official said on Thursday.

"The person infected with the disease was referred to Victoria hospital from a private hospital , where he was on ventilator support since March 10", the official said.

Later, on Wednesday the man succumbed to Covid-19.

With this, the number of deaths caused by Covid-19 reached 13 in the state, whereas the total positive cases stood at 195.
