Beijing, Jan 11 The Chinese mainland has reported 103 new coronavirus cases, out of which 85 were locally transmitted and the rest 18 arrived from outside, the National Health Commission said on Monday.

Of the locally transmitted cases, 82 were reported in Hebei province, two in Liaoning, and one in Beijing, the Commission said in its daily report.

No new suspected cases or deaths related to the disease were reported, Xinhua news agency reported.

By the end of Sunday, a total of 4,430 imported cases had been reported on the mainland. Among them, 4,132 had been discharged from hospitals following recovery, and 298 remained hospitalised.

With the new figure, China's overall infection tally has reached 87,536, while a total of 82,229 patients have been discharged and the death toll stood at 4,634, according to the Commission.
