COVID-19 patient dies in Kashmir

A 72-year-old COVID-19 positive patient from Tangmarg in North Kashmir's Baramulla district died at JVC SKIMS Medical College and Hospital in Srinagar on Saturday.

Srinagar, April 25 A 72-year-old COVID-19 positive patient from Tangmarg in North Kashmir's Baramulla district died at JVC SKIMS Medical College and Hospital in Srinagar on Saturday.

With his death the the total number of COVID-19 deaths in J&K has shot up to six.

Medical Superintendent JVC SKIMS Medical College and Hospital Dr. Shifa Deva told that 72-year-old coronavirus positive patient from Tangmarg was admitted in the hospital on April 13.

"He had many underlying health conditions like pneumonia, hypertension and heart ailment," she said.

Six patients have so far died due to COVID-19 in J&K including five from Kashmir valley and one from the Jammu region.
