John Keats

A popular face in the world of English Literature, the renowned poet breathed his last on 23rd February 1821 due to TB.

Tom Fogerty 

Tom Fogerty is best known as the rhythm guitarist in the popular rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival. The rock band achieved wide success 1968-72, releasing such singles as "Proud Mary", "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Bad Moon Rising". He left the band in 1970 and died in the year 1990 at the age of 48.

Thomas Wolfe

Thomas Wolfe known for his novels, often semi-autobiographical including "Look Homeward, Angel" and "You Can't Go Home Again.'' died at the age of 37 due to tuberculosis.    Stephen Crane

Best known for his novels "The Red Badge of Courage" and "Maggie: A Girl of the Streets" the renowned writer died at the young age of 28 due to tuberculosis.

Mohammed Ali Jinnah

Jinnah is revered in Pakistan as the Father of the Nation and his birthday is a national holiday in the country. Born in Karachi, he died of tuberculosis at age of 1948 in 1971.

Manuel L. Quezon

A major figure during Philippine fight for independence,Manuel L Quezon first joined the Aguinaldo-led anti US resistance in 1899. By 1909 he was serving as commissioner to the US Senate for the Philippines. He died of tuberculosis in 1944 at the age of 65.

Henry Clay

One of the prominent figures in the American history he served three different terms as Speaker of the House of Representatives and was also Secretary of State from 1825 to 1829. Clay was also a three-time Presidential nominee, losing the election in 1824, 1832 and 1844. He died of Tuberculosis at the age of 75.
