Panaji, June 27 Goa recorded its biggest spike of Covid-19 cases with 89 persons testing positive, taking the state's tally of active cases to 706, according to statistics released by the state Health Ministry on Saturday.

89 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday, while 50 persons were cured, the statement said.

As on Saturday, the total Covid-19 cases were recorded to be 1,128.
