Srinagar, Nov 19 A total of 560 people tested positive for Covid-19 in Jammu and Kashmir in the past 24 hours taking the union territory's tally to 1,04,715.

With 565 patients discharged from different hospitals after recovery on Thursday the number of recoveries from the pandemic stood at 97,537.

An official bulletin said 247 tested positive for Covid from Jammu division while 313 were from Kashmir.

So far 1,618 patients have succumbed to the disease, including five on Thursday.

The number of active cases is 5,560 out of which 1,722 are from Jammu division and 3,838 are from Kashmir division.
