Srinagar, July 6 Decline in Covid spread continued in J&K on Tuesday where 421 patients recovered while 231 new cases and 2 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours.

Officials said that 169 recoveries, 83 cases and one death was reported from the Jammu division and 252 recoveries, 148 cases and one death from the Kashmir division.

Cases of black fungus remained at 30.

So far, 317,481 people have been infected with coronavirus in J&K out of which 309,554 have recovered, while 4,345 have succumbed.

The number of active cases is 3,582, out of which 1,578 are from Jammu division and 2,004 are from the Kashmir division.
