Breakfast is a very important meal which you should never skip. There ar many benefits of eating breakfast. Many people have a misconception that breakfast should be avoided if you are trying to lose weight. On the contrary, if you avoid having breakfast, you gain weight instead of losing it.

Improves metabolism

At night all the activities in our body start at a slow pace. So the metabolism is slow. If you avoid having breakfast in the morning, your metabolism will not be fast. It also slows down your fat burning process. That’s why it’s important to eat something within an hour of waking up in the morning. To increase metabolic rate, have breakfast every morning. In breakfast you should eat nutritious foods like oats, upma, idli etc.

Reduces 'night craving'

Eating plenty of nutritious and fiber snacks reduces night craving. People who do not have enough breakfast in the morning have a strong desire to eat carbs throughout the day. Breakfast is a very important meal - it can either make or break your day. However, people who eat less carbs for breakfast consume more carbs in the evening.

Lack of breakfast in the morning keeps the body deficient in protein. If you want to control or lose weight for a long time, you need to get enough protein in your diet. Protein repairs your blood cells and muscles. Eating breakfast provides the body with plenty of protein and helps in weight loss as a result.
