Schools closed in Punjab till March 31 amid Covid-19 scare

All schools, private and government, where exams are not being held will be closed in Punjab till March 31 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak in the country, state Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla said on Friday.

Chandigarh, March 13 All schools, private and government, where exams are not being held will be closed in Punjab till March 31 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak in the country, state Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla said on Friday.

Following the virus outbreak in the state, Singla asked the public to exercise caution to contain the spread of the disease.

One confirmed case has been reported from Punjab so far.
