Two senior Delhi Police officials tested positive for Covid-19, officials said on Friday.

One is a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and the other one is of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) rank.

According to the police, the report of the DCP testing positive came on Friday. The ACP-rank officer was amongst the team which was investigating the cases relating to the recent riots in the national capital in February.

The DCP rank officer is currently under home quarantine. Three members of his staff have been sent for the home isolation, a senior police officer said.

Earlier, two IPS officers of the Delhi Police had tested positive for Covid-19. More than 800 Delhi Police personnel have tested positive for the virus so far.
