Abbas warns Israel against West Bank annexation plan

"If the occupation (Israel) implements its plans of annexing Palestinian lands, we will disengage from all our commitments and agreements," Abbas told the members of the NAM, Xinhua news agency reported.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas warned Israel against implementing its plans of annexing Palestinian lands in the West Bank.

Abbas's warning was made in an online speech he addressed before the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit that was held online on Monday, according to the WAFA news agency report.

"If the occupation (Israel) implements its plans of annexing Palestinian lands, we will disengage from all our commitments and agreements," Abbas told the members of the NAM, Xinhua news agency reported.

In his online speech, Abbas called on NAM members, the international community and the United Nations Security Council to bear their responsibilities towards ensuring the enforcement of the international law.
