State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali inaugurated the flight, which is set to start operating direct flights from Sylhet to London, reports The Daily Star newspaper.

The Biman flight carrying 232 passengers took off from Sylhet Osmani International Airport at 11.15 a.m., according to the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry.
