A family with a husband, wife and a child were shot by gunmen while travelling in a car in Chicago's South Side on Wednesday afternoon, February 5. The video of the shooting that surfaced on social media shows three masked gunmen rain bullets on a white sedan.
According to reports, the incident took place near St Sabina Parish in the 7900-block of South May Street in Gresham Lane at around 1.25 pm. The victims were identified as a 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man. When gunmen started shooting at their car, they crashed into a van.

The woman received multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital in a critical condition, where she died during treatment, said Chicago Police, quoted ABC News. However, the man received two bullet wounds and was in stable condition and currently receiving treatment at Christ Hospital.
Father Michael Pfleger of St. Sabina Church said there was a baby in the back seat of the victim's vehicle, but the child was not harmed. The godfather, Pastor Kirk Bell, of the woman who was shot confirmed his goddaughter's infant girl, who is less than a year old, was in the back of the sedan.

In a viral video, it can be seen white Chevy sedan crashed into a brown van and two unidentified masked gunmen wearing black clothes fired bullets at the sedan and then fled the scene in an Alfa Romeo.
