A Chinese-Canadian professor, a popular YouTuber who is also known as China's Nostradamus, has predicted big for the ongoing war between Iran and the US-Israel, which has killed over 1,000 people in Iran. Professor Jiang Xueqin, on his YouTube channel Predictive History, released his latest video stating that the US will loose war with Iran.
Jiang made a statement during his online lecture in 2024 and his video is now going viral as tensions in the Middle East intensified. He had made three big predictions in 2024: that Donald Trump would return to power as the United States President. The second was that he would start a war with Iran and said Iran would win the war.

After the first two of his predictions have already come true, people are looking closely for his third prediction and call him "China's Nostradamus".
Jiang, referring to history, said a possible US invasion of Iran with the Sicilian Expedition, when Athens launched a large military campaign that ultimately ended in catastrophe. He said Iran's geographical conditions and its population would make any prolonged occupation extremely difficult. Mountainous terrain, long supply lines, and strong domestic resistance could quickly turn an initial military success into a strategic failure.
In his latest YouTube video shared on Wednesday, March 4, Xueqin said that Iran can cripple the Western world in "one move." He said the Strait of Hormuz, the crucial route through which 20% oil flows to the world, including India, Pakistan, China, South Korea, and Japan. He claimed India get 60% of its oil from this area, China 40%, Japan 75%.
Xueqin said, "if Strait of Hormuz is closed, we will run out of oil within 8 and 9 moths and the entire world economy collapse. He said if the world economy collapsed, the American economy would collapse, as it would also create a crisis for food and water. Jiang said the US import 80% of its food from overseas countries.
Who Is Jiang Xueqin?
Xueqin, professor of philosophy and history in Beijing. He completed his graduation from Yale College. He has spent much of his career working on education reform and curriculum design in China. He has built a strong online audience, including on YouTube, with 642K subscribers on his channel "Predictive History". In the lectures, he tries to forecast global events by analysing recurring patterns in history, geopolitical incentives and game theory.
He was influenced by a fictional science imagined by author Isaac Asimov in the Foundation novels, where long-term historical patterns are used to anticipate the future.
Jiang to US TV Show Breaking Points
Jiang said he is closely monitoring the war progress, and Iran has many more advantages on US in the ongoing conflict. He said Iranians have been preparing for this war since past 20 years. He gave a last year 12-day confrontation in June with the exchange of missiles and drones, where Iranians can analyse the strike capacities of both the Israelis and the Americans.
He said since then, they have had a lot of time, eight months, to prepare fully for this new attack. The educator said Iran's proxies - the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas - have grasped American mentality and now they have a pretty good strategy "to weaken and ultimately destroy the American empire".
