Confrontationist Trump refuses to buckle as Dems plan flurry of subpoenas (Washington Files)

The quagmire that US President Donald Trump finds himself in leaves him undeterred as he sashays forth with great abandon. Even as the Dems want to unleash a slew of subpoenas against his inner circle, he trashes the idea of his popularity diminishing.

The Twitter warrior who uses the pulpit of socmedia to get his point across lashes out, saying "The President of the Ukraine just stated again, in the strongest of language, that President Trump applied no pressure and did absolutely nothing wrong. He used the strongest language possible. That should end this Democrat Scam, but it won't, because the Dems & Media are FIXED!"

The embattled President retains his bounce as the DC crowd zeroes in on the biggest hot button issue here.

Trump with major skin in the game is ponting up, earlier this morning he hit out at left leaning media which he reckons is colluding with the Dems.

"From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll. Whoever their Pollster is, they suck. But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days. With people like Andrew Napolitano, who wanted to be a Supreme... Court Justice & I turned him down (he's been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesn't deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, I'm President!"

While Trump would like to believe that coercive tactics are being used against him by the colluding Dems and left wing media, Bloomberg added to the mix reporting, President Donald Trump pressed then-Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to help persuade the Justice Department to drop a criminal case against an Iranian-Turkish gold trader who was a client of Rudy Giuliani, according to three people familiar with the 2017 meeting in the Oval Office. Tillerson refused, arguing it would constitute interference in an ongoing investigation of the trader, Reza Zarrab, according to the people.

They said other participants in the Oval Office were shocked by the request. This new angle has thrown everyone into acute consternation for the story has now moved forward from the Biden - father and son duo tango in Ukraine. With both sides bringing up time capsules, this ugly cage match is not done and dusted just yet.

Firing yet another salvo across the bows Trump tweeted "Where is Hunter Biden? He has disappeared while the Fake News protects his Crooked daddy!"

The disdain with which the king is trumping all charges makes many believe that he will come through this brutal round of catechism. White House watchers however claim that the ground beneath the presidency is slipping.

Trump meter remains adamant that he has done no wrong, "Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters Thursday his controversial July call with President Trump involved no bribe, blackmail or quid pro quo, as impeachment-minded Democrats claim. This should immediately end the talk of impeachment!"

His comment on the Syria pullout and uncharitable remarks on the allies Kurds in the fight against IS have however, created a hoo ha here leaving people stunned. Asked about the Kurds, President Trump says they "didn't help us in the Second World War, they didn't help us with Normandy" and that they're fighting for "their land."
