Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has passed away, as per media reports. He was 78 years. Musharraf, the former military ruler, was facing several legal cases. He had left for the UAE in 2016 for medical treatment and had not returned Pakistan since.

He was the army chief of Pakistan during the 1999 Kargil War with India.
