Los Angeles, Nov 1 Actress Helen Flanagan is back in the dating game and has been discussing her nerves about meeting a man with her young daughter.

The 33-year-old ‘Coronation Street’ actress is a proud mum of three, sharing seven-year-old daughter Matilda, four-year-old daughter Delilah and two-year-old son Charlie with her former fiance, Scott Sinclair, reports Mirror.co.uk.

Helen and Scott split in October last year after being together for 13 years and engaged for four. Now Helen has made her return to the dating world - and it seems she has a dating app and the screening skills of her daughter to help. In a candid family moment, Helen shared a video of herself and Matilda talking together.

As per Mirror.co.uk, the footage showed the mum discussing the fact she was soon to go on a date with a mystery man - and getting her daughter’s approval appeared to be high on her agenda.

The video clip showed Matilda reveal: "My mum's going on a date with someone tomorrow and I think she said he's very hot." A blushing Helen replied: "Do you like the look of him? I think he looks quite nice." Matilda then replied: "But you think he's really hot."

Helen said: "Yeah I know but Matilda I'm a bit nervous actually because I don't know him." Her daughter said: "Yeah but you have this dating app, so you look at these boys but some of them do this, (creating a boy impression)." The ‘Corrie’ star continued: "Most of them look really creepy don't they...."

Matilda jokes: "Yes." The Sun has claimed that Helen is indeed back on her dating horse with a source saying: "Helen’s officially back on the dating scene - she’s been seeing someone on/off for a while but has said they’re better off as friends, but she did really like dating him. Everything’s really casual and she’s taking things slow - she doesn’t want anything serious.”

Mirror.co.uk further states that Helen recently opened up about the fact she is rediscovering her confidence after splitting from Scott.

She announced via social media: "I'm just myself on Instagram. What my life actually is. I'm just myself… Yeah, I find my social media quite therapeutic really. I like being honest about situations really. I am trying to do that with motherhood... it has been a weird adjustment for me”.

“Over the past year really. I was with my fiance for a really long time - when I was 19 to 31 and he was my whole world. But yeah, and then, before that, I had a boyfriend when I was 17. My whole adult life - I've never been single or on my own. That, over the past year, has been quite an adjustment for me”, she added.
