At least six people were reportedly injured in a mass stabbing incident on Sunday, March 22, in downtown Los Angeles. One was transported to the nearby hospital for serious injuries. According to the New York Post, the incident took place on in the 500 block of W. 7th Street at around 5.14 pm (US local time).
A victim in her 30s was seriously injured and admitted to a hospital due to an injury to her wrist. According to an eyewitness, the suspect fled the scene with a folding knife after the attack along 7th Street and Grand Avenue.

After receiving the information, the law enforcement team, along with firefighters and the medical team, reached the spot. The busy intersection was shut down Sunday night.
“Reports of multiple people injured at 7th St and Flower. Officers have responded and closed off the area. Expect traffic delays in the area,” Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Central Division.
