At least 70 people, including passengers and and fire crew, were injured after an Air Canada aircraft collided with a fire vehicle on a taxiway at LaGuardia Airport, New York, on Sunday night, March 23. According to the information, the runway has been closed for other flights after the plane accident.
The collision occurred on Runway 4 at Delta’s terminal area at around 11.37 PM, according to AeroCrewNews and NYCFireWire. After the accident, the New York City Fire Department (NYCFD) team rushed to the spot. Chaotic scenes at the airport were reported as several flights were delayed and cancelled after the accident.
According to eyewitness, one patient in serious condition and two in moderate, and 67 receive minor injuries. Emergency responders are diverting critically injured individuals to other trauma centers for treatment.

According to the Mirror US report, LaGuardia Airport will remain shut until 2 pm on Monday, which will cause huge travel disruptions at the NYC's busiest airport. The cause of the collision is under investigation. Authorities have not yet released the identities or conditions of those injured.
