New Delhi [India], February 28 : Piyush Singh, at present Joint Secretary in the Ministry, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Paraguay, Ministry of External Affairs said on Thursday.

Piyush Singh, who belongs to the 2007 batch of Indian Foreign Service (IFS) is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
