Bangkok [Thailand], April 4 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay on the sidelines of 6th BIMSTEC Summit, and he said that both the countries are cooperating in several sectors.

PM Modi added that India's friendship with Bhutan is robust.

In a post on X, he said, "Had a great conversation with my good friend, PM Tobgay. India's friendship with Bhutan is robust. We are cooperating extensively in several sectors."

Tshering Tobgay called PM Modi an elder brother, and said he discussed furthering Bhutan-India friendship.

In a post on X, he said, "Always a pleasure to meet my elder brother and mentor PM Narendra Modi ji. Discussed BIMSTEC, enhancing regional cooperation, and furthering Bhutan-India friendship."
