Rudrendra Tandon appointed India's next envoy to Afghanistan

Rudrendra Tandon, Foreign Service officer of batch 1994, have been appointed as India's next Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced.

Rudrendra Tandon, Foreign Service officer of batch 1994, have been appointed as India's next Ambassador to Afghstan, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced.

Tandon is currently serving as the Ambassador of India to ASEAN.

The MEA, in a statement, said that Tandon is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
