Mumbai, Dec 25 Bollywood diva Sara Ali Khan penned a heartwarming note for Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, and filmmaker Aanand L Rai as the romantic fantasy drama ‘Atrangi Re’ has completed two years of its release, calling it ‘divine’.

Directed by Aanand, ‘Atrangi Re’ revolves around the story of a girl named Rinku (Sara) who is in love with a magician named Sajjad (Akshay). Dhanush plays the character of Dr Vishu, with whom Rinku gets forcefully married.

On the second anniversary of the film's release, Sara dropped some unseen photos from the shoot of the movie, which shows her transformation into a girl from Bihar. The string of photos also shows the ‘Kedarnath’ actress posing with the leading men of the movie-Akshay and Dhanush.

There are also photos of the crew and the director.

Along with the pictures, the 28-year-old diva wrote: “2 years to Atrangi Re… From before lockdown, in another time… Bihar was Rinkus - she was mine… So lucky that @dhanushkraja and @akshaykumar sir and I could align And make something so special, so divine…. Thank you @aanandlrai for giving us so much love & making us shine.”

Taking to Instagram Stories, Sara, who enjoys a fanbase of 44.2 million followers on the photo sharing application, wrote: “December 2020... On shoot.. December 2021 in your hearts... December 2023 missing this”, and “Rinku ke atrangi ways.. really missing these amazing days @aanandIrai.”

The movie was released on December 24, 2021, and is available to stream on Disney +Hotstar.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Sara next has 'Ae Watan Mere Watan', 'Metro... In Dino', Jagan Shakti's untitled project, and 'Murder Mubarak’.
