Taipei [Taiwan], September 9 : Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense said it detected three Chinese military aircraft, six Chinese naval vessels, and one official ship operating in its territorial waters as of 6 am (local time) on Tuesday.
As per the MND, of the three, two sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern ADIZ.
In a post on X, the MND said, "3 PLA aircraft, 6 PLAN vessels and 1 official ship operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 2 out of 3 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly."

Earlier on Monday, Taiwan detected 27 PLA aircraft, seven PLAN vessels and two official ships. Of the 27 sorties, 14 crossed the median line and entered Taiwan's northern, central and southwestern ADIZ.
