The High Commission of India in London on Tuesday, August 6, issued a travel advisory urging its citizens to exercise caution while travelling to the UK in view of recent violent protests in the British country.

"Indian travellers would be aware of recent disturbances in some parts of the United Kingdom. The High Commission of India in London is closely monitoring the situation. Visitors from India are advised to stay vigilant and exercise due caution while travelling in the UK. It is advisable to follow local news and advisories issued by local security agencies, and to avoid areas where protests are underway" stated the advisory.

The government asked its citizens to avoid areas where protests are taking place to ensure safety and security. The advisory came in response to a series of violent protests that have erupted in various parts of the UK, causing disruptions and raising safety concerns for both residents and visitors.
