Iran Waives Exit Permits for Indian Students Amid Conflict, Allows Land Border Evacuation

He stated that the Iranian government has waived the requirement for exit permits, allowing Indian students to approach designated land borders and leave the country without additional clearance. Israel–Iran Tensions: Former Ambassador Gaddam Dharmendra Flags ‘Ploy of Deception’ by US

On Israel-Iran war, former Indian Ambassador to Iran, Gaddam Dharmendra says, "This is for the second time that the Americans have used this ploy of deception. While seeming to engage in negotiations. In the middle of negotiations, if you recall, the Oman foreign minister, who was mediating between the Iranians and the Americans, gave a very positive readout to American media, where he said that the Iranians have made unprecedented concessions on their nuclear program blending down highly enriched uranium, reopening their sites for IAEA inspections, and committing to enrich not beyond 2%, which is below the NPT threshold of 3.67%. He gave a very positive response, and the technical teams were due to meet today, in Vienna, for further discussions with the IAEA and on Saturday, the Americans decided to strike, whether it was an opportunity which they did not want to let go or what we will not know. But the exact same scenario happened last June. The Iranians and Americans were talking and in the middle of these talks, the Americans brought in their B2 stealth bombers and bombed the three nuclear facilities... Iran is at its weakest politically, economically and strategically. It's really on the back foot. It's challenged internally by very decimating economic situation, as was evidenced in the riots last month. So engaging in a kinetic action at this juncture without clarity on what the goals are, what the war goals are, what the intended outcome is and what the end game will be, seems a bit surprising. Going forward, will the Americans be able to continue to face down Iranian missile barrages? That will remain to be seen... Just in the last 48 hours, things have been moving very quickly, changing almost on an hourly basis..."
