The sacred city of Ayodhya is set for Ram Navami celebrations on March 27, 2026, with live streaming of major rituals including the Surya Tilak on Lord Ram Lalla. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has confirmed all preparations are complete at the newly inaugurated Ram Mandir.

At precisely 12 noon on Thursday, sunlight will focus on the Shri Ram Lalla idol's four head for 4-minutes during the Surya Tilak ceremony, which is an important ritual of the festivities. Before this, the deity will be anointed with Panchagavya a mixture of five sacred cow products and offered 56 types of bhog (food items).
