Carrots and beets are widely available during winters. They are used in various ways, from salads to juices. Everyone knows the benefits of carrot and beet juice, but do you know? If you drink the juice of both of them together, the body gets countless benefits. It is considered like an elixir for the body. But this juice is not beneficial for everyone.

According to Ayurveda, carrot and beet juice is considered to be energizing for the body. This juice is not only colorful in appearance, but also full of taste and nutrition. People usually take carrot and beet juice separately, but when taken together, the body gets double the nutrition. Modern science also considers it the 'National Blood Booster Drink'. It contains beta-carotene, anti-oxidants, nitrates and iron-enhancing ingredients, which are effective in brightening the skin and increasing blood volume.

Benefits of Carrot and Beetroot Juice

Bloodflow - Carrots and beets contain beta-carotene, nitrates and folate, which improve blood flow and increase the body's ability to absorb vitamin C.

Liver Detox - This juice helps to remove toxins from the liver (detox). This increases liver function and maintains bile balance.

Skin, eye and hair health - This juice increases the amount of vitamin A in the body, which is beneficial for the eyes and skin. The antioxidants in beets reduce free-radical damage, which reduces skin dryness.

People should be careful

Although carrot and beetroot juice is beneficial, it is not suitable for everyone.

Diabetes - Diabetic patients should avoid this juice, as it can increase blood sugar levels.

Kidney stones - Those suffering from kidney stones should avoid consuming it.

Pregnant women and low BP - Pregnant women and patients with low BP should consume it only after consulting a doctor.
