Walking is the most beneficial and easiest exercise to stay healthy and fit for a long time. From doctors to fitness experts believe that walking is good for people in many ways.

If you walk regularly, then would not need any other exercise. Walking is a healthy option for people of all ages, it burns your calories and keeps your weight under control.

So here are the benefits of walking

Beneficial for the heart -  Running or walking is very good for your heart. People who walk regularly have less heart related diseases. Walking increases blood circulation in the heart and reduces the bad cholesterol in the body. People who walk on a daily basis do not face blood pressure issues. 

Improves your mood - Walking can help your mental health.  According to studies walking can help reduce anxiety, depression, and a negative mood. It can also boost self-esteem and reduce symptoms of social withdrawal.

Lungs remain healthy - All the parts of your body start working well by walking. The body gets plenty of oxygen by walking daily. Good flow of oxygen not only makes the lungs healthy but also helps in avoiding diseases.

Stomach remains clean - By regular walking, your digestive system works well, which keeps your stomach clean. Without any medicine, you can get rid of all stomach problems. The most important thing about walking is that you feel very light. People who walk every morning and evening do not even need to go to the gym. 

How long and how many steps should be taken each day?

It is said that in order to stay healthy, a person must walk at least half an hour a day. Talking about steps, walking about 10,000 steps i.e. 6 to 7 kilometers daily is beneficial for health. A brisk 30-minute walk burns 200 calories.
