Holi, the festival of colors, is celebrated across India with diverse traditions in different states. It is an ancient Hindu festival that signifies the victory of good over evil and marks the arrival of spring. The festival is deeply rooted in Hindu mythology, particularly the story of Prahlad and Holika.

According to legend, Holika, the sister of the demon king Hiranyakashipu, was burned in a fire while attempting to kill Prahlad, a devoted follower of Lord Vishnu. Additionally, Holi is closely associated with the love story of Krishna and Radha, adding to its joyful and playful nature.
