The sighting of the crescent moon in India on Wednesday, February 17, marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan 2026. Today, February 19, Muslims across the country will observe their first fast (Roza). Due to geographical differences, sunrise and sunset timings vary from city to city, which leads to slight variations in Sehri and Iftar timings.

Iftar Timings Today (February 19, 2026) in Major Cities

The timings for breaking the fast (Roza) this evening in different cities are as follows:

  • Mumbai: 6:41 pm

  • Delhi: 6:15 pm

  • Lucknow: 6:07 pm

  • Patna: 6:00 pm

Sehri Timings for Tomorrow (February 20, 2026)

The timings for completing Sehri for the second fast on Friday are as follows:

  • Mumbai: 5:51 am

  • Delhi: 5:35 am

  • Lucknow: 5:22 am

  • Patna: 5:12 am

Reason for Time Difference

According to the Islamic calendar, Sehri and Iftar timings depend on local sunrise and sunset. Since India spans a wide geographical area, the sun sets earlier in eastern cities like Patna and Lucknow, while western cities such as Mumbai have slightly later Iftar timings.
