Muslim communities worldwide and India are observing fasting (Roza) for Ramadan 2025. In India, Ramzan began on March 1 evening, and the first day of fasting was March 2. On March 7, 2025, Muslims will observe the sixth Roza. As usual, the fasting begins from dawn to sunset and ends with Iftar.

The timings of Sehri and Iftar depend on the sunrise and sunset. Sehri ends around 10 minutes before the Fajr prayer call, meaning well before the sunrise. The Iftar meal can be consumed when the call for Maghrib prayer begins, meaning two minutes after sunset.
